| We went to the processional for Officer Schneider yesterday. For those of you who don't know what happened about a week before Christmas Officer Schneider was shot in the line of duty while responding to a domestic abuse call. Unfortunately he passed away and they held his funeral yesterday along with a very emotional and moving processional. There were police cars from all over the state as well as some from South Dakota and Wisconsin. It was really neat to see all of the support given to the Officer and his family. |

| The Harteneck children were willing to share a couple of the flags with Levi. The weather started out fairly nice (especially for January!) but then turned pretty chilly once the sun went away and we were out there for awhile. |

| The police cars kept coming, and coming and coming. I have never seen so many cop cars in my life! |

| Levi made it for most of the time in the stroller than wanted to be held the rest of the time. |
